These terms govern your use of northlanestudio.dev, the website of Northlane Studio ("Northlane Studio", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms are not the licence for the Solaris application (that is its End User License Agreement, shown when you install it) and not the Terms of Service for the Solaris account. Those documents govern the software and the account; this one only governs the website.
1. Who we are
Northlane Studio is an independent software studio. The best way to reach us about the site is [email protected].
2. What this site is
This website exists to describe Northlane Studio and its software and to let you download it. Everything on it is provided for general information. It is not professional advice and it is not an offer capable of acceptance.
3. Roadmaps, "planned" and "coming soon"
The site describes software that exists and software we intend to build. Anything marked "planned", "coming soon", "on the way", or placed on a roadmap or timeline describes our current intention, not a promise. Features, names, availability, platforms, pricing and timing can change, slip, or be dropped entirely, at any time and without notice. Nothing on this site is a commitment to release any particular product or feature, or to do so by any particular date.
4. Intellectual property
The site and its content — text, layout, graphics, icons, and the "Northlane Studio" and "Solaris" names and logos — are owned by Northlane Studio or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trade-mark and other laws.
You may view the site and link to it freely. You may quote short extracts with attribution for commentary, review or news reporting. You may not, without our prior written permission: copy or republish substantial parts of the site; scrape or harvest it in bulk or by automated means; frame or mirror it; or use our names or logos in a way that suggests a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.
5. Acceptable use
When using the site you agree not to:
- use it for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of these terms;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site or its infrastructure without our prior written consent, or breach or circumvent any security measure;
- place an unreasonable load on the site, or interfere with its normal operation, including through automated requests, denial-of-service attempts or malware;
- misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with Northlane Studio.

6. Downloads
Installers for Solaris are distributed from this domain. The application itself is licensed to you under its End User License Agreement, which is presented when you install it and available within the app. Installers are provided "as is"; always check that you downloaded from northlanestudio.dev and not a copy hosted elsewhere.
7. Links to other sites
The site may link to services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, or their own terms and privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
8. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any information on it is complete or current.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northlane Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the site.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your mandatory statutory rights.

We may change the site, and these terms, at any time. The version published here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. If you continue to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site, are governed by the law applicable at Northlane Studio's principal place of business, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
