Solaris is free to use for as long as you like — the whole local player, SoundCloud, playlists, lyrics. Pro is a one-time unlock for the power-user tools, and every device gets one 7-day Pro trial. No subscription for Pro, no ads either way.

Optional monthly add-on

It uploads your own audio files — the ones you added to Solaris, not SoundCloud — to your account. Sign in on another computer and your music downloads itself. Without Sync, your library is whatever is on that one disk. Works with or without Pro.

The sun marks what's playing

One warm colour in the whole app. It lights the bars of the song that is playing, the progress line and the active item, so your eye always knows where "now" is.

A background that follows the sky

The backdrop takes a faint tint from your local time: warm at dawn, neutral at noon, amber at dusk, deep blue at night. Subtle enough to feel, never to distract.
